SSPYSA BOARD OF DIRECTORS
SSPYSA is always looking for people interested in serving on the board. Terms are generally three years. Some soccer knowledge is helpful, but not required for most board positions. Outside of monthly board meetings, most positions require a few hours per week. Some positions require substantially more time than that. The board accepts applications on an ongoing basis, and starts new board members in the late fall with their three year term. Feel free to contact any of the current board members for info about serving on the board.
The S.S.P.Y.S.A. is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. These parents and coaches are committed to making our soccer community the best it can be with relevant support for our volunteer coaches, developmental training for players and multiple methods of communication for families. Each season we work hard to create teams that bring fairness and fun to our Recreational League and highly competitive, successful development to our Competitive League. Our Recreational and Competitive Leagues work hand in hand to provide the appropriate opportunity for each player.
